How can I recover work after a crash or some other terrible or annoying event?

If Slugline crashes or something else terrible happens, there's a chance Slugine saved a copy of your work.

  • In the finder, choose Go To Folder... from the Go menu.
  • Copy and Paste this text into the Go to the folder: field:
~/Library/Containers/com.actfocused.Slugline/Data/Library/Autosave Information

A Finder window will appear with the contents of the Super Secret Slugline auto-save folder. You can copy whatever you find here to a safe spot, and open the files in Slugline.
