How do I update Slugline 1 for Mac to the latest version?

Even though Slugline 1 is no longer for sale, we’ve been updating it for compatibility and performance, because we love you.

Slugline 1 no longer appears in the Mac App Store, but if you purchased it, you can re-install it on an existing or new Mac. You can also update it to the latest version. Here’s how:

  • Open the App Store app on your Mac.

  • Make sure you are logged in using the same Apple ID that you used to purchase Slugline 1.

  • Click on your name in the lower left. You should see a listing of your purchased apps.

  • Find Slugline, and click on it.

  • If an Update button appears, choose that, and Slugline 1 will update in place.

If the Update button is not available, check that you don’t already have the latest version by choosing About Slugline in the Slugline app.

If the version number you see there is lower than what’s available in the App Store, here’s how to update:

  • Go to your Applications folder and delete the Slugline app.

  • Restart your Mac.

  • Open the App Store and find Slugline 1 in your purchased apps.

  • Click the Download button.
