Tidy Up Whitespace

In Slugline 2 for Mac, under Format → Formatting Helpers, you’ll find Tidy Up Whitespace. This is a simple, automatic way to remove any extra empty lines in your screenplay.

When writing in Slugline, it’s easy to wind up with unnecessary blank lines in your screenplay. Usually these will simply be ignored when Previewing or Printing your screenplay, but sometimes they can affect formatting and pagination. This Formatting Helper is a one-click method of removing any extraneous blank lines, or “whitespace,” from your screenplay document.
