Why does Slugline 2 ask me to install Rosetta 2?

Rosetta 2 is Apple’s technology that allows applications built for Intel Macs to run on Macs with Apple silicon. Slugline 2 currently requires this while we work on an M1-native update.

If Slugline 2 is the first Intel app you run on your Apple silicon Mac, you will be prompted to install Rosetta 2. You must do this in order to use Slugline 2.

Don’t worry — if you’re coming from an Intel Mac, Slugline under Rosetta 2 will run faster and smoother than what you’re used to!
